Firefox Toolbar Update! - Important!

There is a new update available for the Firefox Smart Toolbar. This is much more reliable than the old one. Please install it soon, for I will be decomissioning the old toolbar on Aug 18th, 2007.

Click on the "Install Now" button to upgrade (or to perform a new installation if you do not yet have the toolbar installed).

What does this extension do?

The Smart Toolbar will enable you to

• See the Alexa Rank of every page you visit.
• See the Google PageRank of every page you visit.
• Estimate the value of the website that you are currently viewing.
• See the PageRank of the backlinks to the current page.
• See the whois for the page that you are currently viewing.
• Check if other tld's for the domain is available for the page that you are currently viewing.
• Check the Google PageRank from multiple datacenters for the page that you are currently viewing.

How to install the Smart Toolbar

The Smart Toolbar is written for the Mozilla Firefox browser. Simply click on this link ( Install the Smart Toolbar with the Google PageRank and Alexa Rank). If you see a yellow bar at the top of the browser window, you will need to click on the bar and allow Smart PageRank to install this toolbar for you.

Is this the Alexa Toolbar?

At first, this toolbar used methods that a standard website would use to calculate the Alexa ranking. The toolbar became so popular, however, that Alexa contacted us and worked with us to make this toolbar a bonified - Alexa recommended - toolbar. So even though this toolbar was not created by Alexa, it is now considered one of their officially supported ones.

What makes this much better than the Alexa toolbar that they put out is that this also shows the PageRank of every site you visit as well. Also, you get some very useful SEO tools with this add-on that Alexa simply does not offer.
